The Tri-City Tornadoes basketball team (Buffalo, IL), was nudged 54-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL)
The Pretzels now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a Sangamo battle on Friday, January 20. New Berlin will confront a Warriors team coming off a 52-51 league win over Midwest Central (Manito, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 12-8.
The Tornadoes (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers come into the battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Lincolnwood edged Lutheran (Springfield, IL), 54-28, in a league battle.
