New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 58-51 in a league bout.

With the win, New Canaan upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Warde (Fairfield, CT) to play the Mustangs in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Warde won 71-69 in their recent league bout against Stamford (Stamford, CT)

Next up, the Cadets play the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 20. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 67-55 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT).
