The Mustangs now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a Southwestern Michigan - West battle on Friday, January 20. Portage Central will confront a Bears team coming off a 46-42 league win over Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Bears record now stands at 5-3.

The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans come into the Southwestern Michigan - East battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Lakeview was nudged by St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI), 46-42, in a league battle.
