In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) basketball squad felled the visiting Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), by a margin of 73-63.
The Colonels (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs go into the District 29 outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, North Oldham thwarted Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN), 72-61, in a non-league outing.
The Bearcats now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Augusta for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20. Walton-Verona will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 90-45 non-league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-7.
