Iowa High School Basketball - Ottumwa knocked off by Waterloo East

The Waterloo East Trojans basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Ottumwa Bulldogs to 53 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mason City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Waterloo East will meet a Mohawks team coming off a 66-39 league loss to Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Mohawks record now stands at 6-5.
The Bulldogs (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Hoover ran past Mason City (Mason City, IA), 66-39, in a league contest.
