In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN), by a count of 64-54.
The Patriots (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN). The Miners go into the non-league outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, Linton-Stockton defeated Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN), 42-41, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Shakamak for a Southwestern Indiana outing on Friday, January 20. White River Valley will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 81-55 league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 6-7.
