In Tuesday's league outing, the Powers Lake/Burke Central (Powers Lake, ND) basketball squad edged the visiting Tioga Pirates (Tioga, ND), by a count of 57-52.
The (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Kenmare/Bowbells (Kenmare, ND). The go into the B Region 8 District 16 outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Kenmare/Bowbells held off Tioga (Tioga, ND), 53-48, in a league outing.
The Pirates now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Parshall for a non-league outing on Monday, January 30.
