Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT), 54-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to play the Bears in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 20. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Norwalk lost 88-82 in their recent league bout against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)

Next up, the Eagles play the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 20. Trumbull will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 70-59 league win over McMahon (Norwalk, CT).
