Indiana High School Basketball - Rushville can't hold off Union County

The Union County Patriots basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Rushville Lions to 39 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri for a Tri-Eastern contest on Friday, January 20. Union County will battle a Titans team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN). The Titans record now stands at 8-3.

The Lions (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Northeastern nudged Knightstown (Knightstown, IN), 56-33, in a league contest.
