The Socorro Warriors basketball team (Socorro, NM), was routed 85-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM)
The Sundevils now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Mountain for a 3A District 5 battle on Friday, January 20. Sandia Prep will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 56-38 league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-14.
The Warriors (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Horsemen come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, St. Michael's trounced Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 54-52, in a non-league battle.
