The Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI) basketball felled the visiting Taylor Prep Tigers (Taylor, MI), 48-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Merritt Academy thwarted Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI), 72-21, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Taylor Prep will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 63-25 league loss to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-7.
