Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), 62-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wisner-Pilger upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Gators host Pender (Pender, NE) to clash with the Pendragons in a C2 District 4 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Pendragons go into the bout with a record of 3-11.

Next up, the Titans clash with the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Twin River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 55-31 league loss to Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE).
