Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona fells Woodbury Central

West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA), 60-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Monona upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Spartans host Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Kingsley-Pierson won 69-35 in their recent league bout against River Valley (Correctionville, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA) in a Western Valley - North bout, on Friday, January 20. Woodbury Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Raptors go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 71-32 league win over Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA).
