In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) basketball squad edged the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), by a count of 40-33.
The Chieftains (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record.
The Eagles now hold a 0-2 record.
