The East Central Eagles basketball team (Sandstone, MN), dropped 58-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Aitkin Gobblers (Aitkin, MN)
The Gobblers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Rapids for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Braham (Braham, MN). The Bombers come into the A Section 5 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Braham prevailed over Rush City (Rush City, MN), 71-52, in a non-league battle.
