Nebraska High School Basketball - Arthur County can't hold off Sandhills Valley

The Sandhills Valley Mavericks basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Arthur County Wolves to 41 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maxwell for a D1 District 11 contest on Thursday, January 19. Sandhills Valley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 40-38 non-league win over Brady (Brady, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.

The Wolves (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hyannis (Hyannis, NE). The Longhorns come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record.
