In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Bloomington North Cougars basketball squad scored a close 48-41 victory over the Brownstown Central Braves.
With the victory, Bloomington North improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Columbus North (Columbus, IN) to confront the Bull Dogs in a Conference Indiana challenge on Friday, January 20. The Bull Dogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Columbus North won 57-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN)
Next up, the Braves confront the West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Brownstown Central will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 60-20 league loss to Paoli (Paoli, IN).
