Indiana High School Basketball - Jasper tipped by Boonville

The Boonville Pioneers basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Jasper Wildcats to 27 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Hills for a Pocket contest on Thursday, January 19. Boonville will meet a Patriots team coming off a 60-34 league loss to Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 12-7.

The Wildcats (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN). The Panthers enter the Southern Indiana contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Evansville Reitz was nudged by Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN), 71-49, in a non-league contest.
