The Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) basketball crushed the host Brainerd Panthers (Chattanooga, TN), 57-9 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Owls (3-9) will now prepare for their test against McMinn County (Athens, TN). The Cherokees go into the 4A District 5 test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, McMinn County was trounced by Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN), 45-40, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences for a 2A District 4 test on Friday, January 20. Brainerd will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 48-17 non-league loss to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 3-12.
