In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Chestatee War Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-52 triumph over the North Oconee Titans.
In their next game, the War Eagles meet the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8A match, on Friday, January 20. Chestatee will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 13-5 record after their 67-43 league win over Madison County (Danielsville, GA).
With the defeat, North Oconee moves to 14-6 on the year. The Titans travel to Seckinger (Buford, GA) to meet the Jaguars in a AAAAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, January 20. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 1-18. Seckinger lost 33-26 in their recent league match against Johnson (Gainesville, GA)
