The St. Mary's Academy Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Cox Cougars to 11 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Phoenix for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. St. Mary's Academy will battle a Spartans team coming off a 49-20 non-league loss to Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-7.
The Cougars (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against John Ehret (Marrero, LA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record.
