Colorado High School Basketball - Crested Butte succumbs to Gunnison

The Gunnison Cowboys topped the visiting Crested Butte Titans basketball team by a final score of 50-30 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cowboys face the Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO) in a 3A Western Slope game, on Friday, January 20. Gunnison will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Cowboys go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 75-36 league loss to Grand Valley (Parachute, CO).
The Titans now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Center for a 3A/2A Southern Peaks test on Thursday, January 19. Crested Butte will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 41-27 non-league win over Las Animas (Las Animas, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 6-5.
