The Meadowbrook Monarchs basketball team (Richmond, VA), was overwhelmed 57-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA)
The Wildcats now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a Colonial battle on Friday, January 20. Deep Run will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-19 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-13.
The Monarchs (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors come into the Central battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Matoaca trounced Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 69-21, in a non-league battle.
