The East Brunswick Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Spotswood Chargers to 41 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunellen for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. East Brunswick will battle a Destroyers team coming off a 32-21 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 8-2.
The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The Ramblers enter the Greater Middlesex - Blue contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Carteret was defeated by Metuchen (Metuchen, NJ), 35-31, in a league contest.
