The East Greenwich Avengers ran past the host Prout Crusaders basketball team by a final score of 49-33 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Avengers face the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 2 game, on Wednesday, January 18. East Greenwich will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the game with a 3-7 record after their 56-34 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI).
