The Edina Hornets basketball team (Edina, MN), was nudged 57-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN)
The Sabers (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Lakeville South got by Eagan (Eagan, MN), 63-57, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wayzata for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20. Edina will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 57-50 league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 14-2.
