Indiana High School Basketball - South Decatur overwhelms Edinburgh

January 17, 2023: Edinburgh, IN 46124

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) and the host Edinburgh Lancers (Edinburgh, IN), saw South Decatur's basketball squad wallop Edinburgh by a tally of 56-30.

With the victory, South Decatur improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Switzerland County (Vevay, IN) to confront the Pacers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Pacers come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Switzerland County lost 54-39 in their recent league challenge against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) in a Mid-Hoosier challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Edinburgh will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to New Palestine (New Palestine, IN).
