The Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) basketball felled the host Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), 43-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Conference 32 test with a 1-10 record.
The Buckin' Elks now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to North Stokes for a 1A Conference 36 test on Friday, January 20. Elkin will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 53-33 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
