The Excelsior Charter Eagles (Victorville, CA) basketball nipped the host Lakeview Leadership Academy Spartans (Victorville, CA), 23-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their test against University Prep (Victorville, CA). The Jaguars go into the Cross Valley test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, University Prep was tipped by Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA), 42-34, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-4 record.
