In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), by a count of 60-45.
The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays go into the non-league outing with a 8-3 record.
The Trojans now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Marshall for a AAA Section 2 outing on Friday, January 20. Worthington will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
