University Titans (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 54-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, University upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Mead (Spokane, WA) to play the Panthers in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Friday, January 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Mead won 73-45 in their recent league bout against Cheney (Cheney, WA)

Next up, the Saxons play the Ridgeline Falcons (Liberty Lake, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 60-23 league loss to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA).
