The Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado (Paducah, KY), 48-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Raiders go into the District 12 test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Trinity was tipped by Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY), 50-32, in a league test.

The Blue Tornado now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to McCracken County for a District 2 test on Friday, January 20. Paducah Tilghman will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 77-29 non-league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 19-2.
