The Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) basketball felled the visiting Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE), 31-17 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dusters (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Minden (Minden, NE). The Whippets go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Minden thwarted St. Paul (St. Paul, NE), 56-24, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Columbus for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Hastings will encounter a Discoverers squad coming off a 72-42 league loss to Marian (Omaha, NE). The Discoverers record now stands at 5-8.
