Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA), 60-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Huskies play the North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Oelwein will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 72-32 league win over Kee (Lansing, IA).
