In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Johnson Knights basketball team scored a tight 33-26 triumph over the Seckinger Jaguars.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a AAAA Region 8A match, on Friday, January 20. Johnson will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 10-8 record after their 59-43 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
With the defeat, Seckinger moves to 1-18 on the year. The Jaguars host North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to meet the Titans in a AAAA Region 8B match on Friday, January 20. The Titans enter the match with a record of 14-6. North Oconee lost 61-52 in their recent non-league match against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)
