Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Victor Blue Devils (Victor, NY), 50-49 in a non-league challenge.

With the victory, Livonia improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Haverling (Bath, NY) to play the Rams in a Section 5 Livingston County I challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County I challenge, on Friday, January 20. Victor will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 79-76 league loss to Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY).
