Morton Potters (Morton, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), 47-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morton upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Potters host Metamora (Metamora, IL) to play the Redbirds in a Mid-Illini bout on Friday, January 20. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Metamora lost 63-54 in their recent league bout against Washington (Washington, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Mahomet-Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record.
