With the victory, Mercer improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Farrell (Farrell, PA) to confront the Steelers in a District 10 Region 1 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Steelers come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Farrell lost 69-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenango (New Castle, PA)

Next up, the Rockets confront the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Slippery Rock will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 48-34 non-league win over General McLane (Edinboro, PA).
