New York High School Basketball - Mount St. Mary Academy edges Niagara-Wheatfield

The Mount St. Mary Academy Thunder (Kenmore, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY), 63-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Thunder (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Nardin Academy was tipped by East Aurora (East Aurora, NY), 40-36, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Charter School for Applied Tech for a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier test on Friday, January 20. Niagara-Wheatfield will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 60-13 league loss to North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-8.
