In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Wells Warriors basketball team scored a tight 52-45 triumph over the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 19. Wells will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 41-26 league loss to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME).
With the defeat, Old Orchard Beach moves to 7-2 on the year. The Seagulls host York (York, ME) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 3-7.
