Mississippi High School Basketball - Park Place Christian Academy ripped by Winston Academy

The Winston Academy Patriots basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 14 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leake Academy for a MAIS 5A District 2 contest on Friday, January 20. Winston Academy will meet a Rebels team coming off a 45-38 league win over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 28-2.
The Crusaders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS). The Cougars enter the MAIS 5A District 2 contest with a 22-4 record. In their last contest, Simpson Academy triumphed over Lamar (Meridian, MS), 60-49, in a league contest.
