The Wautoma Hornets basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Ripon Tigers to 43 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mauston for a South Central contest on Friday, January 20. Wautoma will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over Almond-Bancroft (Almond, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kewaskum (Kewaskum, WI). The Indians come into the East Central contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Kewaskum prevailed over Winneconne (Winneconne, WI), 58-38, in a league contest.
