Texas High School Basketball - The Woodlands Christian Academy overwhelmed by Second Baptist

The Second Baptist Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors to 7 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran South Academy for a TAPPS 5A District 5 contest on Friday, January 20. Second Baptist will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 59-45 non-league win over Bay Area Christian (League City, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-6.
The Warriors (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Frassati Catholic (Spring, TX). The Falcons come into the TAPPS 5A District 5 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Frassati Catholic was routed by St. John XXIII (Katy, TX), 52-47, in a league contest.
