Virginia High School Basketball - Nansemond River trounces Hickory

The Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 60-15 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record.
The Hawks now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to King's Fork for a test on Friday, January 20. Hickory will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 26-25 league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
