Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McKeel Academy Wildcats (Lakeland, FL), 26-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Region upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. McKeel Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-24 non-league win over Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL).
