Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Center Roughriders (Center, TX), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Jasper will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.
The Roughriders now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pittsburg for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 20. Center will confront a Pirates team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
