Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Manor Mustangs (Manor, TX), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Pflugerville Connally will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record.

The Mustangs now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McNeil for a 6A Region 4 District 25 challenge on Friday, January 20. Manor will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-2.
