Virginia High School Basketball - Walsingham Academy nudges Nansemond-Suffolk Academy

Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), 54-49 in a league bout.
With the win, Walsingham Academy upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Veritas School (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Saints clash with the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 23. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 55-25 non-league loss to James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA).
