The Texico Wolverines basketball team (Texico, NM), was overwhelmed 66-23 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM)
The Rams now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19.
The Wolverines (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Sumner (Fort Sumner, NM). The Foxes/Vixens come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
