The Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) basketball crushed the host Rondout Valley Ganders (Accord, NY), 55-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Sawyers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Huguenots go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, New Paltz was trounced by Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY), 68-45, in a non-league test.

The Ganders now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wallkill for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19.
